GHEFA event weekend. 28th – 29th October 2023

Welcome to the GHEFA Autumn event 2023.

Date of event 28th to 29th October

Event venue: Broadwell Memorial Hall (see in above menu: ‘Training/Training and Venues: Broadwell Memorial Hall’)

All GHEFA events have common theme running through all classes, and these will always be concerning the re-enforcement of proper martial principles, specifically Distance and Intent on this occassion.

If we have a lot of interest we will be doubling classes and splitting attendance between the two classes per timeslot. This doesn’t mean you have to choose which class you attend as you will be attending all the classes, just whether you’re in Group 1 or Group 2 (G1 or G2), and if you’ll attend the first class of each subject, or the repeat. If there are insufficient numbers for this to become necessary then the repeat will not be taking place and all activities will take place in the main hall.

Breaks and Lunches do not have fixed beginnings but do have fixed endings. If your class runs short or long (maximum of +/- 15 mins), you will have a maximum of 45 minutes for a break/ 1 hour 15 minutes for lunch, or a minimum or 15 minutes for break and 45 minutes for lunch. This is very much dependant on the instructor of that class at that time.

If you’re wondering why specific G1 and G2 classes do not run consecutively then this is because a class instructor might want to participate in the other classes as well.
